Dildos are phallic shaped sex toys designed for vaginal or anal penetration.
Not to be confused with vibrators, dildos do not have motors or moving parts, which is what differs them from vibrators. Since they do not have vibrating parts, most of the enjoyment found with their use comes from penetration.
Dildos are made from a wide range of materials including plain rubber, silicone, vinyl, plastic, metal, wood, and glass. They can be found in almost any shape and/or size imaginable.
All dildos are safe for vaginal use since they can't get "lost", but a dildo that is being used for anal use must have a larger or flared base and be free of sharp edges or seams to be considered safe for use anally.
