Who is Kara_Sutra?
Kara_Sutra is the pseudonym of the sex advice sensation & host of “Sex Ed 102: All the things you didn’t learn…but should have” a show popular on YouTube that has gained both extensive notoriety and legions of internet fans. Born February 15th, 1979, her sweet and friendly demeanor dotted with sly humor, the occasional trucker’s mouth, and fantastic natural cleavage has won her a large and supportive fan base.
Early Life & College
Kara_Sutra was born in Canada and is of Scottish/Greek ancestry. An only child, she attended a Public Elementary School. As a teenager she attended a local Junior High School where she found a flare for drama. She then moved on to East York Collegiate, but transferred to a local Alternative High School for the open and honest environment that suited her particular personality. Kara attended George Brown College in Toronto for Business Management and Accounting, maintaining a 4.0 GPA.

Feeling the need to experience more of life, as well as following her heart, at the age of 21 Kara left everything she knew behind and moved to Vancouver where she lived for 9 months. Soon after moving back to Ontario in 2001 she found herself in search of a place to call home. She found this with Todd Klinck, a published Canadian writer, pornography producer and professional dominant. Though their relationship was purely platonic, while living with Todd, Kara gained her first glimpse of the world of BDSM and a very candid look at the world of pornography, the extremes of kink, as well as the sex trade industry. Through this experience Kara came to learn the safety issues related to S&M and the misinformation the general public had about the subject. She took this knowledge and applied it to her work at the “Adult Novelty Store”, gaining her repeat clientele on the much sought out subject.
Employment
Kara has held numerous jobs over the course of her lifetime, and is a firm believer that one cannot fully find who they are unless they try everything once. She enjoyed Bartending at a local Drag bar (El Covento Rico) as well as worked in various Management and Retail roles. Her most enjoyable job was working in an “Adult Novelty Store” which opened Kara up to an exciting world that she felt most at home. Due to her ample experience and research Kara begin teaching seminars through the store on such subject matter as “How to Manually Stimulate Your Partner”, “How to perform Oral” and “The Basics of Anal Sex”. Her well received seminars set Kara on a new path and she treated the subject matter with the utmost affection and sincerity; helping all sorts of people with their sex lives.
Why does Kara_Sutra make videos on the topic of Sex Ed?
While working in an “adult novelty store” she came to the quick realization that there was a great misconception and stigma still attached to human sexuality and one’s own comfort ability with their body. Sensing this, she decided to make it her goal in life to bring awareness to the subject as well as allow others a platform where sex could be talked about openly and honestly, without any judgment.
Wanting to reach a larger platform and audience, Kara created her brainchild ‘Sex Ed 102’.

Sex Ed 102 is a show that is informative, fun, and unabashedly frank. It delves into many aspects of the sexual world and sex industry that is otherwise ignored or mishandled. Sex advice and sexual product reviews dominate the show’s content, all sprinkled with Kara’s signature style. Kara_Sutra herself is described as ‘adorably accessible, friendly and funny’. She has become a hit with anyone sexually curious or desiring to unleash their ‘inner freak’.
